PM Modi to launch key projects in Haryana on Ambedkar Jayanti

New Delhi, Apr 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Haryana on April 14 to mark Ambedkar Jayanti, launching a series of major infrastructure projects.

In Hisar, the Prime Minister will flag off the first commercial flight to Ayodhya and lay the foundation stone for a new terminaal at Maharaja Agrasen Airport, a Rs 410 crore project aimed at boosting regional air connectivity.

Later, in Yamunanagar, Modi will lay the foundation for an 800 MW thermal power unit at the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Plant, worth Rs 8,470 crore, and a compressed biogas plant under the GOBARDhan scheme. He will also inaugurate the 14.4 km Rewari Bypass, built under the Bharatmala Pariyojana at a cost of Rs 1,070 crore, aimed at easing traffic and improving connectivity between Delhi and Narnaul.
