Several delegations call on LG Sinha

Jammu, Mar 23: Representatives of Special Cells for Women, established under the Violence-Free Home – A Woman’s Right initiative, implemented by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) with support from the National Commission for Women (NCW), on Sunday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and sought his intervention for the continuation of the Special Cells in Jammu and Kashmir.

A delegation of Sri Brahman Sabha Kathua met the LG and apprised him of the issue about the beautification and development of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Ji Chowk, near Government Degree College in Kathua.

The LG assured the members of the delegations that appropriate action would be taken for the redressal of the issues projected by them.

Subsequently, former Sarpanch, Flora Nagbani Jammu, Vandana Kumari, and President, SkiMo India (a ski mountaineering sports promotion federation) Praveen Sood, also called on the LG.
