Police conduct mock drill at Amargarh railway station in Sopore

Sopore, Jan 2: Sopore Police in collaboration with Army, CRPF, Railway Police and Fire and Emergency Services conducted a joint mock drill at Railway Station here in Amargarh Sopore on Thursday.

The exercise was aimed at testing the preparedness and coordination among the different agencies in responding to emergency situations such as terror attacks, hostage crises, or other security threats at the station. "Such drills are essential for assessing response times, resource allocation, and the effectiveness of communication channels among the involved forces,” officials said.

By conducting such drills the safety and security of railway infrastructure and passengers in the region, particularly in light of heightened security concerns in sensitive areas is ensured.
