Budget to revolutionise tourism: Mustafa Kamal

Srinagar, Mar 14: National Conference's Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal Friday said that the roadmap presented by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in the budget 2025-26 will revolutionise the tourism sector in Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement he emphasised the government's crucial plan to promote religious tourism in the capital city and explore lesser-known destinations along the border for tourism development.

“This initiative is a much-needed step that will transform untouched destinations into major tourist hubs. The focus remains on strengthening tourism infrastructure, enhancing visitor experience, and ensuring sustained growth in the sector,” Dr Kamal said.
