Teenager stabbed to death in south Kashmir's Anantnag

Srinagar, July 08: A teenage boy was stabbed to death in south Kashmir's Anantnag district late Sunday night.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a 15-year-old youth was found in a pool of blood in a drainage. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital and later shifted to GMC Anantnag, where he was declared brought dead.

The official stated that the boy was stabbed by another youth following a minor scuffle.

He added that to verify the details, Srigufwara Police have arrived at the scene at GMC Anantnag for necessary medico-legal formalities and have taken possession of the body.

The body has been handed over to the family while further investigation is underway.
