Woman dies, sister injured in Rajouri mishap

Rajouri, Feb 2: A 55 years old woman was killed and her sister injured in a road accident at Bakhar in Rajouri on Jammu- Rajouri national highway today.

The accident, officials said, took place when a car JK02CH 0341 on way to Rajouri from Jammu went out of control of the driver and hit two women sitting on roadside. Theywere waiting for a passenger vehicle.

The injured identified as Raj Kumari (55) wife of Ghani Sham resident of Syal Damri and her younger sister Vaishnoo Devi (50) were rushed to sub district hospital Sunderbani. Raj Kumari was declared as brought dead in the hospital.

Vaishnoo Devi is presently under treatment in sub district hospital Sunderbani.

Police has seized the car involved in the accident and a case registered.
