Srinagar, Jan 14: In its ongoing efforts to promote health and wellness in the community, Ujala Cygnus Kashmir, a leading healthcare provider in the region, started a three-day  medical camp at the Srinagar International Airport.

"On the first day of the camp, free health screenings were provided to over 100 patients from the Airport Authority, CISF, CRPF, and airlines staff. The camp was inaugurated by the Airport Director, who appreciated the efforts of Ujala Cygnus in reaching out to prominent places like the international airport," the organisers said ina statement.

"We are committed to providing quality healthcare services to the community, and this medical camp is a step in that direction," said Dr. Pervez Sofi, Managing Director of Ujala Cygnus Hospitals. "These initiatives provide us with a platform to interact with people and patients at their workplaces across various domains, helping us in our patient-centric policies and reinforcing our commitment to delivering quality healthcare services."

According to  Arafat, representative of Ujala Cygnus Kashmir, "This camp also aims to identify and reach out to people who are covered under various health schemes like CGHS, ESIC, and Ayushman Bharat. As we are empanelled with all major healthcare panels, patients can avail our services free of cost, relieving them of financial burdens. We believe this initiative will have a positive impact on the idea of early detection."

"The medical camp offered a range of services, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and other vital parameter checks. The camp was staffed by a team of experienced doctors and healthcare professionals from Ujala Cygnus Kashmir," the statement said.
