Tourist slips to death while taking selfie at Doodpathri resort

Srinagar, Oct 5: A tourist died and another was injured after they slipped while taking selfies at Doodhpathri resort in the Khansahib area of central Kashmir Budgam district late last evening.

Quoting a police officer, news agency NVI reported that at least two tourists were injured after they slipped while taking selfies at Doodhpathri.

He said the duo was moved to a hospital in Srinagar where one of them was declared dead on arrival.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Malik (70), and the injured person as Naseema Khatoon (55).
