SKUAST-K holds workshop on Technology Management in Life Sciences

Srinagar, May 3: SKIIE Centre at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Kashmir, organised a workshop in collaboration with BIRAC focusing on bio-entrepreneurship, intellectual property (IP), and technology management.

The workshop aimed to provide participants with insights into the intricacies of starting and managing a bioenterprise, understanding the importance of protecting intellectual property rights, and effectively managing technology in life sciences.

Distinguished speakers and experts from academia, industry, and government bodies shared their knowledge and experiences during the workshop. They delved into various aspects of bio-entrepreneurship, including identifying market opportunities, navigating regulatory frameworks, and securing funding for biotech startups.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganie highlighted the remarkable achievements of the university in the field of life sciences.
