SIU Srinagar produces chargesheet against 2 accused terrorists in NIA court

Srinagar, Mar 14 : The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Srinagar of J&K Police produced a chargesheet against two accused terrorists in case FIR No 39/2022 in the Court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Srinagar.

A statement of SIU Srinagar issued here said that the chargesheet bearing No 03/2024 of case FIR No 39/2022 under Section 7/27 of the Arms Act, 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), 13, 16, 18, 20, and 38 UA (P) Act of Police Station Soura, Srinagar was presented before the Court of NIA, Srinagar.

The case was presented against the two accused terrorists Adil Ahmad Parray, son of Habibullah Parray of Badragund Ganderbal (A1) and Basit Ahmad Dar, son of late Abdul Rashid Dar of Redwani Payeen Qaimoh, Kulgam.

Adil has already been killed while Basit is absconding and still on the run regarding whom the court prayed to take cognisance as abated and under Section 299 CrPC. The next date of hearing has been fixed on March 28, 2024.
