Sgr-Jmu NH to remain closed today

Ramban, Sep 18: The Srinagar-Jammu National Highway will remain closed tomorrow.

A fresh advisory issued by traffic police department Jammu and Kashmir for Thursday stating that no Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs), load carrier would be allowed after 6 am, morning till 3pm, Thursday afternoon from Qazigund Kashmir through Banihal-Qazigund (Navyug tunnel) towards Jammu and from Jammu towards Srinagar on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, (NH-44).

They advised load carrier operators carrying fresh perishable /livestock to load their vehicles accordingly.

They said heavy vehicles would be allowed to move on either side after Thursday, 5 pm.
