BJP delegation calls on LG, seek improved infrastructure in Pir Panjal
Jammu, Dec 23: A delegation of BJP leaders called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday.
The delegation of BJP leaders comprised Ravinder Raina, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, Thakur Randhir Singh, Muhammad Iqbal Malik, and Murtaza Khan.
The delegation discussed with the LG various issues of the public importance of about Rajouri and Poonch districts of Pir Panjal region; Jammu-Poonch Highway; implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission schemes; Government Degree Colleges at Peeri, Khawas, and Manjakote; completion of Anas and Rajal irrigation canals; railway project for Rajouri-Poonch; early completion of Rajouri-Thanamandi-Bafliaz road; construction and upgradation of various roads and development of tourism potential areas including Shakar Marg project.
The LG assured the members of the delegation that appropriate action would be taken for redressal of the issues projected by them.
