Security situation reviewed in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Aug 04: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom accompanied by Deputy SP PC Kishtwar, visited the remote Dachhan to review the security scenario and ensure comprehensive arrangements for maintaining peace and security in the region.

The visit included thorough inspections of Police Post (PP) Dangdoro and Police Station (PS) Dachhan.

SSP Kishtwar led a plantation drive titled "Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam" and inspected the newly constructed building of police station Dachhan. During the visit, SSP Kishtwar conducted a Police-Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Government Higher Secondary School Panjdhara.

This initiative aimed to strengthen collaboration between the police and the community, with active participation from prominent citizens and public representatives.

In the meeting, SSP Kishtwar engaged with local residents, attentively addressing their concerns and assuring them that issues related to police matters would be prioritized, while those concerning civil administration would be escalated to the relevant departments for prompt resolution.

SSP Kishtwar advised the youths of the area to avoid involvement in menace of drug abuse, criminal or subversive activities and assured them of the District Police Kishtwar's unwavering support whenever needed.

The community expressed their appreciation for the initiative and requested more such events, particularly in remote areas, to foster stronger relationships between the police and the public.
