Elderly man dies after tree branch falls on him in north Kashmir's Bandipora

Srinagar, Aug 07: A 50-year-old man died Wednesday after falling from a tree and then being hit by a tree branch at Inderkote in Sumbal area of north Kashmir's Bandipora, officials said.

The man, identified as Jalaludin Hurra, 50, son of Ali Muhammad Hurra, resident of Inderkote, Sumbal was cutting the branches of a poplar tree when he fell down to the ground, reported news agency KNC.

A tree branch then fell on his head killing him on the spot, officials said.
