Santosh Trophy senior national football coaching camp gets underway

Srinagar, Nov 5: The Santosh Trophy senior national football coaching camp commenced today at TRC Football Ground, Srinagar under the expert supervision of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) coaches.

The camp aims to prepare the state team for the upcoming Santosh Trophy tournament scheduled to be held in Amritsar, Punjab. Top players from across Jammu and Kashmir have gathered at the camp to hone their skills and represent the Union Territory in the prestigious national competition.

During the inaugural session, the JKSC coaches emphasized the importance of rigorous training and discipline for the players to deliver their best performance in the Santosh Trophy. The camp will focus on improving the players' technical abilities, tactical understanding, and physical fitness through specialized training modules.

"This is a critical camp for us as we gear up for the Santosh Trophy. The coaching staff has designed comprehensive training programs to ensure our players are in top shape and ready to compete against the best teams in the country," said a senior JKSC official overseeing the camp.
