Rising Star Faheem Zahoor clinches double gold in Pencak Silat Championship
Srinagar, Nov 21: Faheem Zahoor, a young athlete from Hill Top Educational Institute, has secured two gold medals at the 2nd All India Pencak Silat Championship and the 12th Pre-Teen Sub-Junior National Pencak Silat Championship, held at the Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium.
The talented martial artist, son of Zahoor Ahmad, now boasts six national medals, further establishing his reputation as a rising star in the sport. His latest victories highlight his exceptional skill, discipline, and ability to perform under pressure.
"My family has always supported me, but my brother Ashiq's constant motivation has been crucial," Faheem said. "He believed in me even when I doubted myself."
Key contributors to Faheem's success include Coach Murtaza Bhat, who prepared him for the championships, and Nasir Diggo, President of the Pencak Silat Association, who provided critical guidance.
The Hill Top Educational Institute celebrated Faheen's achievements, with the principal noting that his success "reflects dedication, hard work, and perseverance."
Faheem's father, Zahoor Ahmad, expressed pride in his son's accomplishments. "Winning six national medals is a phenomenal achievement," he said.
