Royal Springs hosts 2nd Fourball Best Ball Club Tournament

Srinagar, Aug 27: The Royal Springs Golf Course (RSGC) held its second club tournament of the season, a Fourball Best Ball (Partner by Draw) event that began on July 25 and lasted four days.

As per a statement issued, fifty-two golfers, including several lady players, competed under clear skies in a format that paired partners by draw.

The unique format of the tournament, Fourball Best Ball (Partner by Draw), added an exciting twist to the event, as partners were drawn randomly, promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship among club members. Each pair played their best ball on every hole, allowing players to strategise and rely on each other's strengths to compete for top honours. The tournament teed off in the afternoon under clear skies and ideal weather conditions.

The lush greens and panoramic views of the Zabarwan Hills and Dal Lake provided a stunning backdrop for an engaging day of golf. Participants displayed commendable skills, and several close finishes added thrill to the contest throughout the course. The Royal Springs Golf Course remains committed to fostering a vibrant golfing culture in Kashmir and plans to host several more such tournaments and activities in the upcoming months, aimed at engaging golfers of all levels and promoting the sport across the region.
