Residential house gutted in Kokernag fire incident

Anantnag Mar 30: A residential house was engulfed in flames at Neelphan Kharpora, Larnoo Kokernag on Sunday evening.

The house belongs to Reyaz Ahmad Khatana, son of Azeem Khatana, resident of Neelphan Kharpora, news agency JKNS reported.

Upon receiving the alert, firefighting teams were dispatched to the location to control the blaze and prevent further damage, and official said.

He said the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not known yet.

Police has taken cognizance of the incident.
