Renowned teacher of Ratnipora passes away
Srinagar, Nov 3: Local residents have mourned the loss of Master Mohd Maqbool, a respected educator who passed away today in Delhi after a brief illness.
He was 20 years the Principal at Zafran Public Secondary School in Samboora, Pampore, before serving as Assistant Director of a local trust in Pulwama until his retirement.
Master Maqbool had been ill for the past several days, initially receiving treatment at SMHS Hospital before being referred to Delhi, where he ultimately breathed his last.
Nayeem-ul-Haq, who was his student, expressed his condolences, stating, “I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my respected teacher, Master Muhammad Maqbool Sahib. His departure has left a profound void in our hearts. He was more than a teacher; he was a guide, a mentor, and an inspiration to many. His wisdom and kindness impacted countless lives, and his memory will be forever cherished. May Allah grant him a high and peaceful place in Jannat al-Firdous. Ameen.”
