Ramban police arrest 1 person with heroin

Ramban, Sep 28: Ramban Police arrested a person after they recovered four grams of heroin from his possession during checking in Banihal on Saturday.

Police sources said on the directions of SSP Ramban Kulbir Singh a Police team of Police Station Banihal apprehend a person with four grams heroin during a Naka checking in Banihal.

However, police did not disclose the location where from this person was arrested in Banihal.

Police identified the arrested person as Aqib Gul son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat resident of Akad, Tehsil Mattan Distt. Anantnag.

Police have registered a case FIR No 151 of 2024 under sections 8, 21, 22 NDPS Act at Police Station Banihal for further investigations.
