Rajouri hosts inter-zonal athletic meet for boys

Rajouri, Oct 9: The Department of Youth Services and Sports Rajouri successfully organised the Inter-Zonal District Level Annual Athletic Meet for Boys (All Age Groups) here at the Sports Stadium.

The stadium, as per an official statement issued on Thursday, came alive with energy and excitement as hundreds of young athletes from different zones gathered to compete in a wide range of track and field events.

The participants showcased their talent and determination in races including 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres and 800 metres, as well as in field events such as javelin throw, shot put, discus throw, long jump and high jump. Each event reflected the spirit of sportsmanship and unity, with athletes pushing their limits and cheering one another.

The athletic meet not only celebrated physical excellence but also reinforced the department’s commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive development through sports.
