New Delhi, July 11: President Draupadi Murmu unveiled the trophies for the prestigious Durand Cup Football Tournament at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The ceremony marks the beginning of one of the world’s oldest football tournaments, first held in 1888.

A statement said that this year’s tournament features a diverse lineup of teams, including Downtown Heroes Football Club from Jammu & Kashmir. The club’s management, comprising founding members Mushtaq Bashir, Qaiser Bhat, Hinan Bhat, and Qazi Tauseef, participated in the trophy unveiling ceremony.
