Police crack theft case in Pulwama
Pulwama, Aug 13: Police in Pulwama cracked a theft case by arresting three accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property from their possession.
Police Station Pulwama received a complaint from one person namely Irshad Ahmad Dar resident of Lajoora Pulwama regarding theft of a water pump from the under-construction building at Dangerpora Pulwama.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 163/2024 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Pulwama, and investigation was promptly initiated.
During the investigation, the team from Police Station Pulwama rounded up three suspects namely Sheraj Ahmad Bhat, resident of Keller, Mehrooz Mushtaq, and Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir , both residents of Dangerpora. After sustained questioning, the suspected persons confessed their involvement in the commission of crime. They have been arrested and shifted to the police station where they remain in custody.
On their disclosure, the stolen water pump was also recovered. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
