PM Modi congratulates Omar, says centre will work closely with him for J-K's progress

Srinagar, Oct 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday congratulated Omar Abdullah for taking oath as the Chief Minister of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir even as he said that the centre would work closely with Omar.

"Congratulations to Shri Omar Abdullah Ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. Wishing him the very best in his efforts to serve the people. The Centre will work closely with him and his team for J&K's progress. @OmarAbdullah," Modi wrote on his official X-handle.
