PDP candidate for Ganderbal leads foot march
Ganderbal, Sep 17: People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ganderbal Bashir Ahmed Mir on Tuesday led a foot march in various parts of main town here as part of his election campaigning and to reach out to people.
Joined by his supporters Mir walked through main markets in the town and also interacted with the shopkeepers.
Talking to media persons, he said this foot march was a part of his election campaigning so that to reach out to people particularly shopkeepers who are important stakeholders and to aware them about our manifesto and agenda for elections.
The PDP leader said that he urged all the people to vote wisely and choose one local candidate who will be accessible to them . Mir said that if given a chance by people by voting for him, will ensure that all their grievances and issues are resolved. Mir highlighted the issue of unemployment and mining which has been banned and reiterated that if elected the first priority will be to lift the ban so that local population are Benifited.
