MRU organises workshop at GMC Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar 7:  The Multi-disciplinary Research Unit (MRU) established by Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Government of India and Department of Biochemistry, Government Medical College Srinagar and Associated Hospitals organised an interactive workshop, "Hands-On Training Course on Molecular and Biochemical Techniques and Their Applications."

The workshop held under the aegis of ICMR India was inaugurated by Principal and Dean GMC Srinagar Prof Masood Tanvir. The workshop was aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of participants in cutting-edge techniques and their practical applications in the field of medicine and research.

The organisers in a statement said the workshop witnessed an overwhelming response from students and faculty members from GMC Srinagar and various colleges, reflecting their keen interest in understanding of molecular and biochemical methodologies.

Head, Department of Biochemistry, Govt Medical College Srinagar, who is also Nodal Officer MRU said the active participation and engagement of attendees contributed to the workshop's success, fostering a collaborative environment for learning and networking.
