Man dies mysteriously in Mendhar

Poonch, Dec 26: A man was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in Mendhar area of Poonch district.

His body was shifted to the hospital for legal formalities while police have taken up legal proceedings and investigation into the matter.

A police official said that the body of Mohammad Javed resident of Mankote, was found beneath a nallah (rivulet) in Mendhar.

A police party reached the spot and later shifted the body to SDH Mendhar for legal formalities, he added.

The police have initiated an inquest proceeding in the matter to ascertain the facts.
