Srinagar, Oct 4: The Khyber Red Premier League (KRPL) has established itself as Kashmir's flagship cricket tournament, drawing talent from across India and showcasing the region's growing cricket prowess.

The league's distinctive feature this season is the participation of players from various Indian states, creating a competitive environment that benefits local talent. As the tournament enters its crucial phase, teams are battling for playoff positions in both pools, with Sultan Warriors Baramulla leading Pool A with 8 points and the undefeated Dadoo Rangers Kashmir dominating Pool B with 6 points.

Elegant Strikers Abhishek Pathak leads the batting charts with 235 runs, averaging 58.75 with a strike rate of 159.86. In the bowling department, 11R Stars' Ramesh Kumar tops with 11 wickets and an economy rate of 6.40. Royal Goodwill CC's Ishtiyak Rasool has emerged as the tournament's leading all-rounder, while Dadoo Rangers' Waseem Raza has impressed with nine wickets in three matches.
