Justice Arun Palli takes oath as Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh High Court
Srinagar, April 16: Shri Justice Arun Palli was sworn in as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh at a ceremony held today at the Convention Centre, where he made and subscribed to the oath of office before the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha.
The ceremony was attended by J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, judges of the High Court, members of the subordinate judiciary, and other dignitaries. The Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice G.S. Sandhawalia, was also present.
Judges, sitting and retired, from Justice Palli’s parent high court of Punjab and Haryana, along with advocates, family and friends, also attended the event at the Convention Centre.
