Jammu, Apr 25: J&K BJP held a prayer  meeting for those civilians killed in Pahalgam terror attack.

According to a press release, Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organisation), J&K BJP, Dr Nirmal Singh, and Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Ministers , Sham Lal Sharma and Yudhvir Sethi were among those who attended the prayer meeting. They also  paid floral tributes to the slain civilians.

Sat Sharma, while paying tributes condemned the terrorist attack. He said that the whole nation is anguished over this unwarranted martyrdom of these unsuspecting victims. Sharma said that certain vested interests are working to disturb the ongoing peace, progress and communal harmony in Jammu and  Kashmir. He emphasised that no religion preaches hatred among fellow humans and the heinous acts of terrorism have to be condemned by all.

Ashok Koul, while paying tributes, said that the tragic incident shook the whole world. He said that the union home minister personally supervised the evacuation, medical treatment and the security measures after he immediately flew to Kashmir. He expressed his concern on the targeted killing of innocent citizens by terrorists in a communal manner.

Dr Nirmal Singh expressed confidence in the Modi government and stressed on the common stand by all the political parties against the terrorism.
