J&K’s Tiranga Yatra to inspire everyone, says PM Modi

Srinagar, Aug 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday said the sentiment expressed by people of Jammu and Kashmir during Tiranga rally will become a source of inspiration to everyone.

Taking to micro-blogging site X, PM Modi said. “#TirangaYatra Ko Lekar Jammu-Kashmir Ke Logoon Ki Yeh Bhawna Har Kisi Ko Prerit Karne Wali Hai”. (This sentiment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir regarding #TirangaYatra is going to inspire everyone).

Earlier Lieutenant Governor, Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha on led a huge ‘Tiranga rally in Srinagar in which thousands of people participated. The rally started from SKICC and culminated at the lawns of Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Botanical Garden Srinagar.

The ‘Tiranga’ rally is a part of the government’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to encourage people to bring the flag at home and hoist it to mark India’s Independence.
