Srinagar, Oct 8: Ahead of the 10th All India Police Judo Cluster 2025, Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (Armed), Jammu and Kashmir, chaired a managers’ meeting in Srinagar on Wednesday to finalise arrangements for the national event, which will see more than 2,000 athletes from state police forces and central armed police organisations compete from October 9 to 16.

As per an official police statement, the meeting was attended by Team Managers representing contingents from various States, Union Territories, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) teams across the country. Comprehensive discussions were held on all aspects of the national event, including accommodation, transport, venue readiness, medical facilities, and security arrangements.

The championship will witness the participation of more than 2,000 athletes representing State Police Organisations and CAPFs, competing at the Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Stadium and Polo Ground in Srinagar.

While addressing the gathering, ADGP Jain emphasised the importance of timely coordination, meticulous planning, and high standards in ensuring the successful conduct of this prestigious tournament.

Describing it as a matter of great pride for J&K Police, the ADGP highlighted that such events play a vital role in fostering sportsmanship, national integration, and police–public goodwill.

Among others who were present on the occasion were Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, IPS, DIG IR Kashmir, Shahid Mehraj, IPS DIG AP Kmr, Munir Ahmad SSP APCR Kashmir.
