Srinagar, April 01: The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the transfer and posting of 48 officers across the Union Territory in a significant administrative reshuffle.

As per an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) reads, Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh (JKAS) has been transferred from Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pulwama to ADC Awantipora, replacing Nazir Ahmad Mir. Riyaz Ahmad Shah (JKAS), previously serving as Joint Director (Administration), Directorate of Rural Development Kashmir, has been appointed ADC Kupwara, replacing Mohammad Rouf Rehman. Anil Kumar Thakur (JKAS), formerly ADC Basholi, has been posted as ADC Doda, succeeding Sudershan Kumar.

Additionally, Sundeep Singh Bali (JKAS), formerly Programme Officer ICDS Anantnag, has been promoted to ADC Anantnag, replacing Alyaz Ahmad Naisroo. Pankaj Bhagotra (JKAS), Programme Officer ICDS Reasi, has been appointed ADC Basholi, while Ramkesh Sharma (JKAS), Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, has been transferred as ADC Sunderbani, replacing Rajeev Magotra.

Several other key transfers include Chander Parkash (JKAS) as ADC Rajouri, Pritam Lal Thapa (JKAS) as ADC Nowshera, and Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi (JKAS) as ADC Baramulla. Muzamil Magbool Beigh (JKAS) has been appointed ADC Anantnag, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz (JKAS) as ADC Srinagar, and Syed Fahim Ahmad Bihagi (JKAS) as ADC Ganderbal. Vishavjeet Singh (JKAS) has been posted as ADC Kathua, while Aadil Fareed (JKAS) has been assigned as ADC Srinagar.

The reshuffle also includes appointments at the sub-divisional level, with officers assigned to various SDM positions in Handwara, Lolab, Jammu (South and North), Akhnoor, and Khansahib. The government has directed all transferred officers to assume their new roles with immediate effect. (JKNS)
