Infrastructure development key to uplift local amenities: Ali Mohammad Sagar

Srinagar, Aug 2: National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar inaugurated three newly constructed wooden culverts at Brari Nambal, Koolipora Khanyar.

The project, amounting to Rs 8 lakhs, is aimed at improving pedestrian movement and connectivity within the area, said a party statement.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of senior officials from Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Public Health Engineering (PHE), Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), and Jammu & Kashmir Power Development Department (JKPDD).

Speaking on the occasion,Sagar emphasised the importance of timely infrastructure development to uplift local amenities and ensure safe passageways for residents, especially in densely populated localities. He commended the collaborative efforts of the involved departments and assured continued development in the constituency.

Local residents expressed satisfaction over the completion of the culverts, which had long been a demand of the community.
