GR8 Sports, Talent-post partner to boost sports innovation, athlete development in J&K

Srinagar, Oct 22: GR8 Sports India Pvt Ltd and Talentpost have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote sports innovation, athlete development, and sports manufacturing in Jammu and Kashmir, with a focus on advancing the region’s talent and positioning Kashmir willow on the global stage.

As per a statement issued on wednesday the MoU signed on October 17, 2025, aims to nurture India’s untapped sporting potential through a blend of technology, training, and talent identification.

The collaboration will focus on scaling high-performance and AI-driven sporting equipment manufacturing while grooming emerging athletes, particularly from Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative also aims to create jobs, boost sports-led manufacturing, and strengthen the regional economy.

With the global demand for Kashmir willow increasing, Talentpost plans to position this indigenous product line at the forefront of India’s sports manufacturing and promote it on international platforms. The collaboration combines GR8’s technological innovation and global recognition with Talentpost’s athlete development strategies.

The partnership will accelerate innovation in products such as AI-enhanced Kashmir willow bats and strengthen athlete grooming, mentorship, and international exposure.

Aligned with Talentpost’s 2036 Olympics mission, the initiative seeks to create a pipeline of trained, competition-ready athletes from Jammu and Kashmir by offering access to world-class training, scouting programmes, and industry-led coaching support.
