Farooq Abdullah demands high-level investigation into Gagangeer attack

Srinagar, Oct 23: National Conference chief Dr Farooq Abdullah Wednesday urged the security agencies in J-K to efficiently investigate the Gagangir attack that killed 7 including a Kashmiri doctor.

"It's God's blessing that situation in Kashmir is not bad as it was in past," Farooq remarked while speaking to news agency PTI.

Terming the attacks dangerous, Farooq said, "not only J&K but the whole country is in danger."

Farooq said, he wonders why the attack took place when the tunnel is complete and only the inauguration part is left.

He said, the attacks would have no impact on the tourism in Kashmir.

"Yatra was once attacked too, did it stop?" asked the former Chief Minister.
