Farewell accorded to soil conservation officer on retirement in Budgam

Budgam, Jan 31: The District Soil and Water Conservation office Budgam held a farewell event on the superannuation of Javed Iqbal Bazaz on Wednesday. Bazaz was working in the department as Zonal Soil Conservation Officer for Budgam and Khag.

In the farewell event, a warm send-off was accorded to him by all colleagues who  appreciated his work and services throughout his tenure in the department. Speaking on the occasion, District Zonal Soil Conservation Officer Janeef recalled the sincere and honest conduct of Bazaz in the department right till the last day of service.

"Officers like him who are filled with passion for work and social welfare are very rare these days. On his superannuation, the department has surely lost a hard working and honest officer," she said.

The department also congratulated laboratory assistants Mohammad Shafi Shaksaz and Abdul Rashid Wani on their superannuation. The department extended good wishes to the superannuated trio and prayed for the betterment of their post retirement life.

Shabir Ahmad Shiekh, District Officer Srinagar, of Department of Soil and Water Conservation, Abdul Raheem, an employee of the department and  Arshad, Zonal Officer Budgam, also hailed his services.
