Era of political hegemony, dynastic rule coming to an end: Usman Majid

Srinagar, May 12: Usman Majid, Vice President of the Apni Party, today said that  the era of political hegemony and  dynastic rule is  coming to an end.

He said that the National Conference (NC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are poised to face a resounding defeat in the forthcoming elections.

According to a press release, Majid was  addressing arty workers across Bandipora, Arin, and Chuntimulla. He urged  them to mobilise the electorate and secure a decisive victory for the joint candidate, Sajad Lone.

Majid said as the momentum for change continues to build, it is evident that the NC and PDP will face an unprecedented defeat, marked by a resounding margin. The era of political hegemony and dynastic rule is coming to an end, as the Kashmiri electorate asserts its power and demands accountability from its elected representatives, he added.
