Dr Farooq Abdullah pays tributes to B R Ambedkar on his death anniversary

Srinagar, Dec 6: National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, today paid tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar on his 69th death anniversary.

In a statement Dr Farooq said, "Ambedkar ji was a visionary leader who emerged to challenge the deep-rooted injustices that denied rights and dignity to many. Much like Sher-e-Kashmir, who also demonstrated the transformative power of education and harnessed his wisdom to pave the way for equality and justice."

The NC President praised Ambedkar for his courageous stand against injustice and his unwavering commitment to creating a more just society. He highlighted the parallels between Ambedkar and Sher-e-Kashmir, emphasizing their shared dedication to education as a tool for empowerment and social change.
