Trainee cop dies of bullet wound at training school in central Kashmir's Manigam

Srinagar, Dec 22: A police trainee at the Manigam training  school in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district has died of a bullet wound, officials said today.

Quoting a police officer, news agency GNS reported that the trainee was hit by the bullet reportedly fired by a sentry at the training academy.

The official added that investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident. He added that the deceased was undergoing Basic Recruitment Training Course (BRTC) at Manigam Police training School.
