Downtown Heroes FC appoints new sporting director

Srinagar, Aug 21: A football club, Downtown Heroes FC on Wednesday said that it has appointed Arun Malhotra as its new Sporting Director.

In a handout, they said that Malhotra has a good experience in football management.

Malhotra will oversee the club's recruitment, and operations, the handout said.

The club said that it aims for short-term success and long-term sustainability and that Malhotra's leadership is expected to play an important role to establish the club among the best in the Indian football.

"I am honoured to take on this role. I look forward to working closely with the team," Malhotra said as per the handout.
