District Carrom Championship to be held in Pulwama on Nov 29–30

Pulwama, Nov 25: The District Pulwama Carrom Association, in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Carrom Association, will host the District Pulwama Carrom Championship on November 29 and 30 at Bujwani Sports Stadium, Tral.

As per a statement issued on Tuesday, the championship will feature competitions across four age and skill categories for boys, girls, men, and women — Under-12 (Cadet), Under-14 (Sub-Junior), Under-18 (Junior), and Senior categories.

Organised under the My Youth My Pride initiative of the J&K Sports Council, the event aims to promote carrom in the district and offer a structured competitive platform to emerging as well as senior players.

The organisers have invited players, schools, colleges, clubs, and institutions to register by submitting details including name, parentage, address, date of birth, institution, gender, and contact number.
