District Baramulla Cycling Championship rescheduled to Oct 19
Sopore, Oct 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association has rescheduled the District Baramulla Cycling Championship to October 19 due to the Wular Marathon being held on October 12.
The championship, as per a statement, will now take place at the Sopore Railway Station, with reporting time set at 10 a.m. The entry fee has been fixed at Rs 100.
The competition will feature both boys and girls in the following categories: U-17, U-18, U-23, and elite. Trials will be conducted in both mountain biking and road categories.
Winners of the first and second positions in the district championship will qualify for the state championship. Top-ranked riders from the state level will then move on to the National Championship, scheduled in Odisha in the last week of November.
