Dilapidated road at Sanat Nagar crossing hits vehicular movement

Srinagar, Dec 26: Commuters have expressed concern over dilapidated road near Sanat Nagar crossing towards Bypass.

A delegation of commuters said the road leading to Bypass was damaged during ongoing construction works of Sanat Nagar flyover. They said likewise, the road near Rawalpora Grid Station is dotted with potholes.

“Dilapidated roads at Sanat Nagar and Rawalpora crossing cause traffic jams on these busy routes. With movement of heavy vehicles, there is risk of accidents on these routes. If it rains, these roads will turn muddy and severely affect vehicular movement. We make a fervent appeal to concerned authorities to undertake repairs of the dilapidated roads on both sides of the under construction flyover,” they added.
