Crime Branch holds 2nd Sub-Committee meet

Srinagar, Dec 12: Special Director General of Crime Branch J&K, Arun Kumar Chowdhary presided over the second meeting of the Sub-Committee of Union Territory Level Coordination Committee held at Police Headquarters in Jammu regarding Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) cases.

A statement of the Crime Branch issued here said that during the meeting, the NBFC cases based on Marketing Intelligence were discussed and in addition the directions passed on March 10, 2023, in the 33rd UTLCC meeting were also deliberated upon.

All the stakeholders were advised to lay emphasis on the general awareness among the people about the unregulated NBFC and NIDHI companies in the market and to involve other institutions like panchayats and educational institutions in this mass awareness campaign.
