‘Collective action important to protect environment’
Srinagar, Dec 22: Chairman of Nigeen Lake Conservation Organisation Manzoor Wangnoo was awarded Green Ambassador Award by the Street Fighters Club (SFC) during a function.
The award was presented by noted pulmonologist Dr Naveed Nazir Shah, who was chief guest of the function. The award was presented to Wangnoo for promoting environmental responsibility, health consciousness, and community involvement.
In his speech, Wangnoo emphasised the importance of collective action in protecting the environment and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. “Together, we can make a real difference in our communities by embracing our environmental responsibilities and promoting better health for all,” said Wangnoo.
The event featured insightful talks by renowned health experts, including Dr. Naveed, Dr. Manzoor, and Dr. Mehraj ud Din, who addressed critical health issues affecting the community and underscored the importance of preventive healthcare.
