CM Omar Abdullah, MP Mian Altaf express grief over Kangan road accident
Srinagar, Mar 23 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and National Conference Member of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmed on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over a tragic road accident in Gund area of Kangan in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district, which claimed atleast four lives and left several others injured.
Taking to social media platform X, CM Abdullah wrote, “Deeply saddened by the tragic road accident on the highway near Gund, Kangan, which has claimed several lives and left many others injured. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the swift recovery of the injured. Authorities are providing all possible assistance.
Meanwhile, National Conference Member of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmad anlso expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic road accident in Gund area of Kangan in Ganderbal district which claimed four human lives. As per a press release, Mian Altaf Ahmad expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the injured ones. " Sad to know about the tragic road accident in Gund area of Kangan which claimed four human lives including three tourists and local cab driver besides many local passengers are injured. My heartfelt condolences to the grieving families, and my prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls and the speedy recovery of the injured,” Mian Altaf added.
MLA Kangan Mian Mehar Ali has also expressed grief over loss of lives in the Gund accident .
BJP senior leader Ravinder Raina has expressed grief over the tragic road accident.
“ Deep Saddened to hear about the tragic road accident near Gund in district Ganderbal of Kashmir. My heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family members and prayers for the speedy recovery of injureds” Raina said.
