Civilian injured in Poonch LoC explosion

Rajouri, Oct 25: A man from Shahpur village of Poonch was injured in an explosion on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector on Friday.

The injured has been identified as Muhammad Haneef, 40, son of Akbar Din of village Shahpur in Poonch Haveli tehsil.

The man got injured due to an explosion that reportedly happened due to an anti-personnel landmine that went off as the man stepped over it accidentally.

The injured has been shifted to a civil hospital in Poonch where he is under treatment.
