Christmas celebrated in Ramban, Batote
Ramban, Dec 25: Christmas was celebrated in Batote and Ramban towns with religious gaiety, fanfare and traditional enthusiasm on Wednesday.
On the occasion functions, including carols and special prayers, were held at Ebenezer Church, Batote and Goshen Church, Maitra, and Ramban under the supervision of their Pastors, James Masih and Sarapheen Sunny, respectively.
The children and followers danced and sang carols in praise of Jesus Christ. The children sang songs about Jesus.
The Pastor, Sarapheen Sunny, did Bible reading at Goshen Church; Maitra, Ramban and Pastor, James Mesih, did Bible reading at Ebenezer Church; Batote did Bible reading and held the prayer at last.
Santa Claus dancing with children and sweets among them was the main attraction for the children on the occasion.
The participants were served with sweets, snacks and tea at last. The Territorial Army personnel also participated in the celebrations and distributed sweets among the participants at Goshen Church Maitra, Ramban.
