Jammu, July 6: Union Minister & Election Incharge J&K BJP G Kishan Reddy Saturday asked the party cadre to reach every household and seek their support in the forthcoming elections.

Asserting that the BJP was ready with its plan of action for upcoming polls, he asked the party rank and file to make the party even stronger to achieve its mission to form government on its own in J&K.

He remembered the days when the then BJP national president had to initiate Tiranga Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to hoist the national flag at Lal Chowk. “Now under Modiji, our national tricolour can be seen everywhere in the region. In the last 10 years exemplary development was ensured in J&K by Modiji and in the next years this development will reach further heights,” he said.

Reddy said that Jammu & Kashmir had always been a source of inspiration for the whole nation and therefore the party cadre would have to set examples by their dedicated work.

BJP national general secretary and Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh appreciated the J&K BJP cadre for their sacrifices and congratulated them for cent percent result in Lok Sabha elections.

He blamed the former Chief Minister Sheikh Abdullah for “destroying the J&K state economically, politically and socially.” He said, “A false narrative was being created right from the beginning when the Pakistan army attack was decribed as “Kabaili attack.” Congress did not correct the historical blunders and the state was pushed into a bloodbath.”

He credited PM Modi for correcting the historical mistakes and for establishing the peace and prosperity in J&K.

Criticising Abdullahs and Muftis, Chugh said on the one hand there were leaders who would say that J&K was not an integral part of India while on the other hand, there’s BJP which considered every inch of J&K as its “revered land of ancestors.”

“The families of Farooq Abdullah and Mufti clan find fault with the accession of India and seek its review. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah are making statements advocating talks with Pakistan, China. They are talking to bring back Article 370. For it, they approached the Supreme Court as well. Before voting, all need to understand that the votes, which would be cast in 2024 assembly elections, would have a background of sacrifice for past 70 years; commitment of Pandit Prem Nath Dogra , sacrifice of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee; dedication of thousands of BJP workers and the commitment of J&K people for the integrity of India,” Chugh said.

J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina in his welcome address congratulated the party cadre for fulfilling its commitment made in the last working committee meeting to secure a grand win in Lok Sabha elections. He credited the hard working ground level workers and the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party President JP Nadda for the emphatic victory. Raina asked party workers to ensure BJP’s own government and its Chief Minister in upcoming elections.

Dr Narinder Singh presented the Political resolution on the current socio-political scenario in Jammu & Kashmir. The role of the Modi government in the development of Jammu & Kashmir was appreciated and the working committee congratulated the Modi government for the third consecutive win in Lok Sabha.

Dr Jitendra Singh elaborated the Political resolution and spoke on the Ideological and Political vindications of Dr Mookerjee, which the Modi government fulfilled in the last 10 years.

Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the Modi government won the heart of the people, which resulted in the formation of 3rd time government at the centre.

Khatana said that in the last years the Modi government revived the economy that was shattered by Congress in its 10 years of government. He also spoke on the ongoing economic development in J&K.

Ashish Sood said that the whole of India was emotionally attached to J&K and struggled for the rights here.
